The brief

A candlelit evening event that needed to feel as warm on screen as it did in person. The brief was simple: make people wish they were there.

The challenge

Low-light environments are unforgiving on camera. The flickering candlelight created constantly shifting exposures, and the venue needed to look intimate without feeling dark or underexposed.

The approach

We leaned into the natural light rather than fighting it. Slow, deliberate camera movements captured the glow and texture of the space. In the grade, we pulled warmth from the shadows and let highlights bloom naturally. The edit was paced to match the evening itself — unhurried and elegant.
