Same-week aftermovie
Shot on the night, edited and delivered inside days while the event is still being talked about.
Nightlife event recap video · London
Artisan Studios shoots aftermovie-style recaps for London club nights, launch parties and one-off events, cut fast enough to promote the next date before the last one stops trending.
An event recap has a shelf life measured in days. We shoot the night start to close, then prioritise the edit so a cut goes out while people are still posting their own footage from the same event, riding that attention instead of arriving after it has passed. The aftermovie format leads with pace and sound design over narration: the drop, the crowd reaction, the door queue, cut to the track that was actually playing when the room peaked.
Events and launch nights we have recapped
Shot on the night, edited and delivered inside days while the event is still being talked about.
The edit leads with what makes people want to be there next time, not just document last time.
Paced to the track and the room’s own energy rather than a voiceover explaining the night.
Selected work
A first cut is normally ready within 48-72 hours of the event, so it can go out while people are still posting their own footage from the same night.
Usually 60-90 seconds for the main aftermovie, cut in both landscape for YouTube and vertical for Instagram and TikTok, plus 2-3 shorter clips pulled from the same footage.
We capture the room’s own sound and cut to whatever was actually playing at the moment we are using, rather than adding a generic music bed over the top.
Single events and one-off nights are the usual scope; multi-night coverage is scoped separately since the shooting and edit schedule change substantially.
Tell us the event date and when the next one runs. We will plan turnaround around it.
